Show Abstract

Abstract: Machine learning (ML)is important in data analysis and decision-making for any business.ML algorithms are used to analyze complex data sets and to extract useful insights from a large collection of data. It enhances the efficiency of decision-makers to arrive at better solutions for complex business problems. Two major glitches faced by all businesses are customer acquisition and preservation. The very first thing the companies can do to reduce the attrition rate is to understand their customers. Even if some customers have churned, the companies should analyze the reasons for their attrition, so that they can make use of this information to reduce the future attrition rate. In this paper, different algorithms are used for identifying the key customers who are making up their minds to switch their mobile network service provider. Predictive modeling with KNN, SVC, logistic regression, decision tree, and random forest with its performance evaluation for prediction of customer attrition. If the service providers use such efficient tools, they can reduce the attrition rate of customers and can focus on targeted promotion and retention strategies.

Abstract: While the human face is significant in friendly communication, sending people's personalities, it is a powerful article with a critical level of variety in its look. Because of this heterogeneity, advancements for face recognition and distinguishing proof have been formulated. Face identification is the principal stage during the time spent facial acknowledgment. We give a point by point and basic evaluation of face recognition and distinguishing proof calculations in this article. We portray a brain network procedure for perceiving a facial picture in light of its unmistakable properties. The essential idea is to track down specific unmistakable perspectives in an individual's facial picture, extricate those highlights, and think about. The methodology and its methodologies remember the distinguishing proof of text for regular pictures and the extraction of adjusted text against a composite background. We present the thought of brain networks with PCA, LDA, and MPCALDA for face acknowledgment, in which we distinguish an obscure test picture by contrasting it with recently recorded preparing photographs, as well as giving data about the individual identified. As shown observationally, the back proliferation technique displays fluctuating paces of precision under different settings. In the space of face identification, we made a calculation equipped for distinguishing human countenances in pictures. This article subtleties our exploration endeavours toward fostering an original technique to acknowledgment methodology

A RESEARCH PAPER ON MANAGEMENT PRACTICES ADOPTED BY THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY AND ITS IMPLICATIONS ON THE WORKFORCE

Ulhas Wagh, Yuvraj Lahoti, Sunil Doke

Show Abstract

Abstract: The automotive industry is undergoing rapid changes; millions of electric vehicles are expected to hit the roads in the next decade, the fuel will be replaced by electric current and hence different services are expected to grow rapidly. The change is expected right from manufacturing through refueling, repair maintenance, and a number of other allied services. It needs to step with thischanging scenario the provider requires to replace. The most vulnerable element to change is the workforce. With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) some manufacturers might find solace in their continuous quest of increasing productivity while keeping desired profits by way of automation and digitization but still there exist a substantial number of manufacturers who face the challenge which is almost as old as manufacturing itself. And the challenge is how to achieve lasting productivity gains from labor-intensive operations. To meet the challenge of productivity the seemingly obvious solution for the manufacturers is termed swapping labor for capital, which means adopting automation capital and trying to reduce the labor force. But in reality, despite having the availability of sophisticated machinery at lower cost, when compared to using digital and analytics technologies in supporting the people replacing them proves more productive. In emerging economies, providing employment that reduces poverty and strengthens social stability is considered to support the people with new technologies and methodologies that prove more profitable. The highlighting factors have again emerged prominently that the companies must be ensuring that workers feel safe; the feel safe factor must be the highest priority. Providing a protective environment may not be enough to persuade every worker to come back to factories, particularly those workers who have seen better prospectus in the industrially advanced areas and dreamt of providing better future for their children and also juggling responsibilities to care for children and families that may have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic. (Gomez, 2021). This paper attempts to explore the journey taken so far by the management practices for the workforce, in light of the various legal and managerial provisions in shaping the automobile industry in Pune.

A REVIEW OF QUANTUM MACHINE LEARNING AND DISCUSSION OF ITS CURRENT STATUS

Seema Bhuvan, Sachin Ashok Kadam

Show Abstract

Abstract: The Quantum Machine Learning is at the combination of the two of the most sought study topics today, i.e., quantum computing and conventional machine learning. Quantum machine learning is the hybrid of two fields. When it comes to quantum machine learning, the goal is to understand how findings from the quantum realm may be applied to challenges in machine learning. Quantity of data is required to properly train a traditional computation model is increasing all the time and is approaching the boundaries of what can be handled by conventional computing machines. The use of quantum computing may help in the continuation of training with large amounts of data in such a circumstance. Quantum machine learning aims to create learning algorithms at a quicker rate than their conventional equivalents, according to the researchers. Classical machine learning is concerned with the search for data patterns and the use of data patterns to predict future occurrences in the data. However, quantum systems exhibit abnormal patterns that are not reproducible by classical systems, leading some to speculate that quantum computers may be able to outperform conventional computers on machine learning tasks in the future. The prior literature on quantum machine learning is reviewed in this paper, as well as the present state of the field.

Show Abstract

Abstract: Most central or state government laws, amendments therein, development schemes, or frameworks that are aimed directly or indirectly towards holistic and sustainable human development have many objectives/goals in common. Here, the question arises: "Can collaboration or cooperation among all such departments, government agencies, and implementation authorities/partners which are responsible for the implementation of such laws, schemes, or frameworks help us to achieve human development goals more efficiently and effectively?". This research paper aimed to answer this crucial question. This is a conceptual study based on secondary data collected from various government websites, reports, and portals. In 2015, the United Nations identified seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved by 2030. Also, as stated in Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013, the Indian government made Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) spending mandatory for all organizations falling under the purview of the act. The Indian government also identified 112 socioeconomically underdeveloped districts (known as Aspirational districts) in 2018 and developed an Aspirational District Program (ADP) for bringing these districts into the mainstream by improving the Human Development Index among these districts and also by reducing regional disparities. This research established the linkages between SDGs, CSR Schedule VII activities, and the key domains of ADP through analyzing and extracting common objectives and goals among all three. Further, the CSR spending among all Aspirational districts in the years 2018-19,2019-20, and 2020-21 demonstrated that SDGs can be achieved through CSR by focusing on ADP's key domains, demonstrating the ability of aspirational districts to achieve SDGs.

Abstract: The growth of the Indian capital market is being fueled by the foreign institutional investors (FII), whose increasing presence is a sign of the advancements made in that industry. Developing nations always strive to enhance their financial markets in the hopes of luring more capital from elsewhere. This has led to new levels of development and increased volatility in the Indian financial markets, which has created an opportunity for fresh research into international institutional investments and the Indian financial market. This study aims to evaluate the impact of international institutional investors' trading activity on the Indian stock market. Our analysis showed that the returns on the Indian stock market have not been much impacted since the market was opened to investors from other nations, but the market's volatility has dramatically decreased. Due to its size, the Indian stock market is a favorite among investors wishing to make investments. The Indian market has attracted an increasing number of domestic as well as foreign investor groups due to its steady growth in recent years. Institutional investors are responsible for the majority of the funds invested in the Indian stock market and among these investors, foreign institutional investors (also known as FIIs) are the most important. The question of whether these Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) are responsible for regulating India's capital markets is an important one. This study examines whether market movements are attributed to these investors and what impact they have on capital markets. Due to the short-term nature of FII investments, there can be a two-way causal relationship between FII returns and returns in other domestic financial markets such as financial markets, stock markets and foreign exchange markets

It has current existence and operations in 14 Tehsils of the Ahmednagar District and was officially registered as an NGO in 1989 in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India. According to Snehalaya, a strong volunteer basis free from political, religious, or ideological prejudices is essential for social work to be genuine. Since the organization's inception, its team of volunteers has been the backbone of its goal, working tirelessly to achieve it. The primary focus of Snehalaya is rehabilitation of children and women who are victims of sexual exploitation. Snehalaya also rehabilitates HIV +ve victims through a special medical care centre. Apart from rehabilitation, Snehalaya works to address the root cause of the problem of sexual exploitation by conducting awareness programmes in slum areas and redlight areas. A major source of funds for NGOs is individual donations and corporate donations. In the effort to collect maximum donations as possible, multiple processes were adopted. This had an impact on the financial system in terms of receipt generation, data record and reconciliation. The case chronicles these and their impact on business processes and stakeholders. As the operations expanded, Snehalay realised that they must also have an integrated approach to collecting data across the various centres and projects. The concerns raised by Snehalaya’s management were as follows: 1. Need for real time, accurate data for control and decisions. 2. Communicating information to donors in a timely way, to retain their trust. 3. Cost benefit and Risk analysis of any solution 4. Since any IT solution requires considerable investment, the solution should be a scalable and sustainable solution for the next 5 years
